If you put one end of metal in the hot solution you can feel the heat at the other end. What does that mean? What is this property of metals?

The property of conduction of a metal is the reason for the above situation.
Heat is tranfered from hot region to cold region.This property is called thermal conduction.So the heat from the solution gets transferred from one end of the metal to other end.
