If you remove androecium of a flower, what would happen?
They flower will not produce the pollen grains
Androecium is the male reproductive unit of the flower that produces pollen grains. The pollen grains are the male gametophytes that contain the male gametes inside them. The male gametes present in the pollen grains fuse with the female gamete to produce a zygote that ultimately forms the next generation of the plant. The lack of pollen grains will make the male plant sterile.
