If you were driving a car, what type of mirror would you prefer to use for observing traffic at your back and why?

A convex mirror gives a much wider field of view of the traffic on your back than a plane mirror of the same size. But it has a disadvantage also. It gives an erroneous idea of the movement of vehicles. It is still preferred because of the first advantage.
