The sperm from the bull in China can be obtained, cryopreserved and then sent to India. It can be directly deposited in the cow by the process of artificial insemination.
Another method of breeding cattle situated in different geographical locations is by first administering FSH into the cow so that multiple eggs are released. After this process, the semen is deposited in the cow. Once the eggs fertilize, they are recovered and then implanted in other cows which are called surrogates.This method is called multiple ovulation embryo transfer (MOET). The body of these surrogates accept most of these embryos and the progeny is then born normally.
