Ferric chloride on hydrolysis produces acidic solution.
FeCl3+3H2OF(OH)3+3HCl
Zinc reacts with water produces nascent hydrogen.
Zn+H2OZnO+H2
This nascent hydrogen reduces Fe3+ to Fe2+.
Hence, the colour changes to very light green.
