Group IIB sulphids react with yellow ammonium sulphide to form thiosalts.
These thiosalts reacts with HCl to form coloured precipitates.
$A s_{2} S_{3}$ is yellow in colour and $S n S$ is brown in colour.
$2 (N H_{4})_{3} s o l u b l e A s S_{4} + 6 H C l ⟶ A s_{2} S_{6} ↓ + 6 N H_{4} C l + 3 H_{2} S$
