(ii) $4\times {10}^{14}and3\times {10}^{17}$

In case of ${10}^{14}$ the exponent is 14 and in case of ${10}^{17}$, the exponent is 17.
On comparing the exponents of base 10,
$4\times {10}^{14}<3\times {10}^{17}$
