1. Granulocytes: White blood cells that contain granules in their cytoplasm. Their nucleus is usually constricted into lobes. ​
Example- Neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils. ​
2. Agranulocytes: White blood cells without granules in their cytoplasm. They usually have a single large nucleus. ​
Example- Lymphocytes and monocytes​
