Find the roots of the quadratic equations by using the quadratic formula in the following question 5x2+13x+8=0.

Given equation is 5x2+13x+8=0

on comparing wit ax2 + bx + c = 0, we get

a = 5, b = 13 and c = 8
by quadratic formula, x=b±b24ac2a
=(13)±(13)24(5)(8)2(5)
=13±16916010=13±910
=13±310= 1010, 1610=1,85
