If $A = 3 x^{2} - 4 x + 1, B = 5 x^{2} + 3 x - 8$ and $C = 4 x^{2} - 7 x + 3$ , then find

B + C - A

Given, $A = 3 x^{2} - 4 x + 1, B = 5 x^{2} + 3 x - 8 a n d C = 4 x^{2} - 7 x + 3$
B + C - A
$= 5 x^{2} + 3 x - 8 + 4 x^{2} - 7 x + 3 - (3 x^{2} - 4 x + 1)$
On combining the like terms.
$= (5 x^{2} + 4 x^{2} + 3 x - 7 x - 8 + 3) - (3 x^{2} - 4 x + 1) = (9 x^{2} - 4 x - 5) - (3 x^{2} - 4 x + 1) = 9 x^{2} - 4 x - 5 - 3 x^{2} + 4 x - 1 = 9 x^{2} - 3 x^{2} - 4 x + 4 x - 5 - 1 = 6 x^{2} - 6$
