how many times will its volume increase?

Volume of cube (V) = $l^2$
When edge of cube is doubled, then
Volume of the cube $\left(V^{\prime }\right)=(2l{)}^3=8l^3$
$V^{\prime }=8\times V$
increase = V' - V
Hence volume will increase 7 times
