If the lateral surface of a cylinder is $94.2c{m}^2$ and its height is 5 cm, then find:

(ii) its volume. $[Use\pi =3.14]$

(ii) Height (h) of cylinder = 5 cm

Let the radius of the cylinder be r.

CSA of cylinder is,
$2\pi rh=94.2c{m}^2$
$=(2\times 3.14\times r\times 5)c{m}^2=94.2c{m}^2$
$\Rightarrow r=3cm$

Volume of the cylinder
$=\pi r^{2}h=(3.14\times (3{)}^2\times 5)c{m}^3$
$=141.3c{m}^3$
