Open in App
Solution

Given: Age of Laxmi's father = 49 yrs
R.H.S. = 49
Let the age of Laxmi be y years.
Also given that her father's age is 4 more than 3 times of Laxmi's age
So, L.H.S.= 3y+4
L.H.S.=R.H.S.

So, the equation will be
3y + 4 = 49
