The following expression is the area of a rectangle. Find the possible length and breadth of the rectangle.

$x^2-3x+2$

We have,
Area of rectangle= $x^2-3x+2$
$x^2-(2+1)x+2=x^2-2x-x+2=x(x-2)-1(x-2)=(x-2)(x-1)$
$\therefore$ The possible length and breadth are (x-1) and (x-2).
