The following expression is the area of a rectangle. Find the possible length and breadth of the rectangle.

$x^{2} - 3 x + 2$

We have,
Area of rectangle= $x^{2} - 3 x + 2$
$x^{2} - (2 + 1) x + 2 = x^{2} - 2 x - x + 2 = x (x - 2) - 1 (x - 2) = (x - 2) (x - 1)$
$∴$ The possible length and breadth are (x-1) and (x-2).
