1. People misuse prenatal testing to know the sex/gender of their unborn child.
2. This procedure is not allowed in countries like India and is illegal by the government.
3. In India, people have a male superiority mindset. This is one of the many reasons couples prefer to have a male child.
4. By using prenatal testing, people try to check the gender of the unborn baby and abort the child if it is female. This is called female foeticide.
5. Thus, prenatal testing for gender determination should not be allowed.
