Is the quantity of aluminium cans recycled more (or less) than half of the quantity of aluminium cans?

Quantity of aluminium cans recycled $=\frac{5}{8}$.
Total quantity of aluminium cans = 1,
then half of the quantity of aluminium cans$=\frac{1}{2}=\frac{4}{8}$
Hence, the quantity of aluminium cans recycled is more than half of the quantity of aluminium cans.
