  1. The magnetic lines of force are in the form of concentric circles with their center at the center of the current-carrying conductor.
  2. The length of the conductor is normal to the plane of a page, the direction of magnetic field lines is in the anti-clockwise direction and in the plane of the page if the current in the conductor is flowing in a direction out of the page.
  3. If the direction of current is reversed, i.e., the current is flowing in a direction into the page, the direction of magnetic field lines is in the clockwise direction and in the plane of the page.
