Image on an object is formed by two plane mirrors one of the plane mirror is double the size of the other in which case will theimage be bigger and why

Ans. The image of the object in both the Mirrors would be the same as it is one of the characteristics of the image formed by a plane mirror the image formed on the plane mirror would be the exact size of the object

Dear student,
Your answer is absolutely correct.

For an object and distance between your eye (or other image forming optics and screen or detector) that allows an image of the entire object to form in the smaller mirror, the image size will be the same for any other, larger plane mirror.

The distance between the object and the focussing optic will affect the image size with or without a plane mirror, since the plane mirror essentially folds the path of all light rays that strike it. As long as that path length is the same for the straight or folded paths, the size of the go used image will be the same.
