One day I went to the clinic with my first-born brother to get the
special powder. We were sitting on the grass when I noticed an old
man. One Sister and two men were taking him inside the clinic. He was
all dried up and his bones were poking out. And I remembered. He was
wearing my grandfathers green pants. They were all torn now but he
was my grandfather. My brother and me went running. The Sister told
us to go away but I told her it was my grandfather. They gave him
some medicine and food. Then my brother carried him to the tent. I
did not know what I felt. When grandmother came in the evening she
looked at him. She looked like she had seen a lion. There were tears
running out of her eyes. For the first time she smiled. Then she ran
and hugged him. I smiled too.
