Disadvantages of hard water is given below :

• Hard water does not produces lather with soap easily.
• It produces sticky precipitate with Ca and Mg ions and this sticky precipitate adhere with the fabric and give a spot on it.
• Due to presence of impurities in hard water, food takes more time to cook due to elevation in boiling point of water.
• Hard water affect our digestive system.
