Improper functioning $\beta$-cells of the pancreas would result in very little or no insulin in the body. In such cases the blood sugar levels will be high. This condition is called diabetes mellitus.

Because of high blood sugar levels, there are increased sugar amounts in the urine, and so a lot of water is excreted in it. This increases the frequency of urination, and consequently the frequency of thirst. The cells of the body are unable to utilize glucose in this disease. This results in lowered energy levels, which results in fatigue.

The testis and the ovary are gonads, and so are responsible for the production of reproductive cells and sex hormones in males and females, respectively.
