Solution

Given that,
Time (T)=4 years
principle (P)=Rs. 6500
Amount (A)=Rs. 8840
Interest (S.I)=88406500=Rs. 2340
We know that,
S.I=P×R×T100

2340=6500×r×4100

R=2340×1006500×4

R=9

then,
P1=Rs. 1600
A1=Rs. 1816
S.I1=Rs. 1816Rs 1600=Rs. 216

S.I1=P1×R×T1100

216=1600×9×t100

T1=216×1001600×9

T1=32

Therefore, T1=112 years.
