Given b = 3 , c = 1 and B – C = π2 In a triangle ABC

By angle sum property,

Since A + B + C = π2 ....(1)

and by Sine formula,

asinA=bsinB=csinCbsinB=csinC3sinπ2+c=c=1sinC
i.e 3cosC=1sinC sin π2 + c=cosCsinCcosC=13tanC=13i.e C=30°=π6B=π2+π6=4π6 A=π-B-C (from (1)) =π-2π3-π6 =6π-4π-π6 i.e A=π6
