The correct option is B

Quantity of Milk (80 × 35) = 48 liters, So Quantity of water in it ( 80 -- 48 ) = 32 liters.

New Ratio required 2 : 3, Let x water to be added, Then Milk : Water is = 48 : (32+x) = 4832+x.

Now 4832+x = 2 : 3

48(32+x)=23

2x = 144 - 64

x = 802

=40 liters.
