In a camp of 300 Soldiers had food for 13 days. If 40 of them are transferred to the other camp. So how long the food Last ?

First work out how much this would last a single soldier, to do this, here is the sum:

300 x 13 = 3900

So there is enough provision for one person to last 3900 days.

Let’s divide this by the number of soldiers left in the camp (which is now 260 ie., 300-40), this will tell us how many days it will last for 260 soldiers.

3900 / 260 = 15

If 40 of them are transferred to the other camp and food last for 15 days
