The correct option is D $150$
Let the total no. of students be $^{'} x^{'}$ no. of students below $8$ year $= 20$ of $x = \frac{x}{5}$
Given : no of students above $8$ years $= (n o . o f s t u d e n t s w i t h 8 y e a r) \times \frac{2}{3} = 48$
$\Rightarrow$ no.of students above $8$ years $= 48$ .
$\Rightarrow$ no.of students whose age is $8$ years $= 48 \times \frac{3}{2} = 72$
$∴$ Total no.of students $=$ no.of students below $8$ years $+$ no. of students with age $8$ years $+$
no.of students above $8$ years.
$x = \frac{x}{5} + 48 + 72$
$\frac{4 x}{5} = 120$
$x = 150$
There are $50$ students in the school
