In a certain school 20 of the student failed in English, 15 of the student failed in Mathematics and 10 of the student failed in both English and Mathematics. A student is selected at random. If he passed in English, what is the probability that he also passed in Mathematics?

Let total number of students be 100
20 failed in english
15 failed in mathematics
10 failed in both
so we can say 5 students failed only in maths and 10 failed only in english
Number of students passed in both subjects=100-5-10-10=75
Probability=75/100=3/4
