The correct option is C 30 g
According to law of conservation of mass, the total mass of products is equal to total mass of reactants.
Mass of A = Mass of B + Mass of C

The mass of the reactant, A = 40 g.
Thus, total mass of products, i.e. mass of B + mass of C = 40 g.

Mass of B = (mass of A) - (mass of C)
= 40 - 10 = 30 g.
