The correct option is C 6 cm
Given the diameter of circle is 10 cm and two equal cord length is 8 cm
Then radius of cord =102=5 cm
And half of cord =82=4 cm
As per Pythagoras formula
Distance of cord from center of circle=(5)2(4)2=2516=9=3 cm
And Distance of cord from center of circle=(5)2(4)2=2516=9=3 cm
Then distance of both cord =3+3=6 cm
