  • Join the center of circle O with point P and Q
  • Taking OP and OQ as base and P and Q as vertex respectively
  • Draw perpendiculars to OP and OQ
  • These perpendiculars meet at point T
  • PT and QT are the tangents at the vertex of the chord.
