In a circle of radius 6 cm, a chord of length 10 cm makes an angle of 110∘ at the centre of the circle. Find
(i) The circumference of the circle.
(ii) The area of the circle
(iii) The length of the arc AB
(iv) The area of the sector OAB.
(i) Circumference =2πr=2×227×6=37.71 cm
(ii) Area of the circle =πr2=227×6×6=113.14 cm2
(iii) Arc length =2πr×θ360o
=37.71×110360=11.52 cm
(iv) Area of the sector =πr2×θ360o
=113.14×110360=34.57 cm2
