Solution

The correct option is D 45
The number of students passed in Mathematics, n(M)=55

The number of students passed in Physics, n(P)=67

Total number of students, n(MP)=100

Let no. of students passed in both subjects =n(PM)

n(MP)=n(M)+n(P)n(PM)

100=55+67n(PM)

n(PM)=122100=22

No. of students passed in Physics but not in Maths, n(PM)=n(P)n(PM)
=6722
=45
