In a class of $50$ students, a student who gets $135$ marks, gets failed by $15$ marks. If pass percentage is $30$ , find out the maximum marks.

The required pass percent is 30 and the required passing marks are 150.
Now, 30(%) : 100 = 150 : M.M

$∴ M . M . = \frac{100 \times 150}{30} = 500$
