Solution

Given that,

In a class of 50 students, 15 of the total play football, 35 play cricket, and the remaining play basketball.

Number of students who play football=15×total number of students in a class

=15×50

=505

=10

Number of students who play cricket=35×total number of students in a class

=35×50

=3×505

=1505=30

Number of students who play basketball=total number of students - (number of students played football+number of students played cricket)

=50-10+30=50-40=10

Therefore, the number of students who play basketball, football, and cricket is 10,10 and 30 respectively.
