Strength of the class $=$Number of boys in the class $+$ Number of girls in the class

$=30+20=50$

Ratio of number of boys to strength of the class $=30:50$

Lowest form of $30:50=\frac{30}{50}=\frac{3}{5}=3:5$ ( Divide both $30$ and $50$ by their HCF $10$)

Hence, Boys : Strength $=3:5$
