In a class, there are 25 boys and 20 girls. Find the ratio in the simplest form of total students to boys.

Number of boys = 25
Number of girls = 20
Total Students = no. of boys + no. of girls
=25+20=45

The ratio of total students to no. of boys = 4525=5×95×5=95
9and5 have no common factors other than 1
So, The simplest form of this ratio is 9:5.
