Which can also be written as $\frac{30}{20}$

Simplest form of $\frac{30}{20}$ is obtained by dividing both terms by their HCF $10$

$\frac{30}{20}=\frac{3}{2}$

Hence, ratio of number of boys to that of girls is $3:2$
