Question

In a competitive examination, there were 60 questions. The correct answer would carry 2 marks, and for incorrect answer 1 mark would be subtracted. Yashwant had attempted all the question and he got total marks. Then how many question he got wrong ?

Given that,
total no. of questions =60
so, total marks =60×2=120
therefore,
If a question is attempted and is still wrong then the no. of
=2[2 mark for question]+1[for wrong answer]
=2+1=3
then,
marks scored =90
so,
mark cost =12090=30
So, No. of questions get wrong =303=10
Hence, this is the answer.
