In a cricket match against Sri Lanka , Sehwag took one wicket less than twice the number of wickets taken by Unmukt. If the product of the number of wickets taken by these two is 15, find the number of wickets taken by each.

Let the number of wicket taken by Unmukt is 'x'
Then number of wickets taken by Sehwag =2x1
Product of number of wickets taken by them =15
then as per question
x(2x1)=15
2x2x15=0
x=b±b24ac2a
x=1±14(2)(15)2(2)
x=1±1214
x=1±114
x=1+114=3
x=1114=104=(Not possible)
Number of wicket taken by Unmukt =3
Number of wicket taken by Sehwag =2×31=61=5
