In a developing embryo, analyze the consequence if cell divisions are not followed by cell differentiation.

In embryogenesis (developing embryo stage), embryo undergoes mitosis and cell division occurs at any stage of embryogenesis after cell division, if cell differentiation does not occur, the cells formed will not be grouped into different tissues or organs thereby embryo remains as just cell mass and cannot develop into an individual.
