Solution

The correct option is C Haploid 20, Pg DNA
In a diploid cell after S -phase the quantity of DNA is 80 Pg. After anaphase I of meiosis I, the quantity of DNA will be 40 Pg due to the separation of homologous chromosomes. This results in formation of two haploid cells. After anaphase II the quantity of DNA will be 20 Pg in each cell, separation of sister chromatids which results in the formation of four haploid cell.
So, the correct answer is option D.
