In a experiment with a rectangular glass slab , that a ray of light incident at an angle 60° with normal on one face of the glass slab , after refraction , strikes the opposite face of the glass slab before emerging out in a air making angle of 42° with the normal . What value assign to the angle of refraction and angle of emergence?

n1=1 (air)
n2=1.5 (glass)

Therefore,
sin(r) = sin(60)/1.5= 0.57735026919
Hence, r = 35.26 °

Also angle of emergence = angle of incidence

Therefore,
e=60°
