Let x be the consumption of rice.
Then, consumption of wheat = 4x
According to the question,
x + 4x = 80
⇒5x=80⇒x=805=16 kg
∴ Consumption of wheat =4x=4×16=64 kg
Hence, the consumption of rice and wheat are 16 kg and 64 kg, respectively.
