Siphon is a device/tube which allows a liquid to flow through it without any use of pump. A low pressure is created by the suction effect of a part of liquid flowing under gravity and due to that, liquid rushes from the reservoir to the tube. A fluid always flow from high pressure to low pressure and it continues to do so unless equillibrium is established.
