Solution

As per the given information in question,
Cost Price (CP) of per table = Rs. 450
Number of tables = 24
So, cost price of 24 tables = 24×450=Rs.10800
Since, 16 tables sold at the rate of Rs. 600.
Selling price of 16 tables = 16×600=Rs.9600
Remaining tables = 24 - 16 = 8
Since, 8 tables sold at the rate of Rs. 400.
Selling Price (SP) for 8 tables 8×400=Rs.3200
Total selling price =9600+3200=Rs.128000
Profit or gain = SP - CP = 12800 - 10800 = Rs. 2000
Now, gain =GainCost price×100%=200010800×100%=2000108%=18.51%
Hence, her gain is 18.51 %.
