Open in App
Solution

Let the number of mango trees in the garden be x.
It is given that the number of coconut trees is equal to the number of mango trees.
So, the number of coconut trees will also be x.
It is given that there are 50 trees in the garden.
∴ x + x = 50
2x = 50
Dividing both sides by 2, we obtain:
2x2=502x=25
∴ Number of mango trees in the garden is 25.
So, the number of coconut trees in the garden is 25 as well.
