∴ x + x = 50
$\Rightarrow$2x = 50
Dividing both sides by 2, we obtain:
$$\begin{gathered} \Rightarrow \frac{2x}{2}=\frac{50}{2} \\ \Rightarrow x=25 \end{gathered}$$
∴ Number of mango trees in the garden is 25.
So, the number of coconut trees in the garden is 25 as well.
