In a given shell, the order of screening effect is
s > p > d > f
Screening effect, also known as the shielding effect, reduces the effect of the nucleus on the outer electrons i.e. inner electrons acts as a shield and reduce the electrostatic interaction between the nucleus and outermost electrons.
The correct order of orbitals in a given shell for the screening effect is s > p > d > f , i.e., s-orbital has the highest shielding effect whereas f-orbital has the least shielding effect.
