The correct option is A $72$
Total ground area $= 5000$ sq. ft.
Area allowed for construction
$= 3600$ sq. ft.
$∴$ Fraction of the ground allowed for construction = $\frac{3600}{5000}$

= $\frac{18}{25}$

Note : $a$ % $= \frac{a}{100}$

So, $\frac{18}{25} = \frac{18 \times 4}{25 \times 4}$

$= \frac{72}{100}$

So, the percentage of ground allowed for construction $= 72$ %
