In angiosperms, one meiotic division of Megaspore mother cell leads to formation of one egg cell. So 300 egg cells are formed from 300 meiotic division. But one meiotic division of sperm mother cell leads to formation of four haploid cells. So 300 functional gametes will be formed by 300/4= 75.
So, total meiotic division required is 375.
