Solution

Having a boy or a girl is an independent event and the occurence of one event does not vary or depend on occurrence of another. The probability of giving birth to a boy is 1/2 or 0.5. So the total probability of having 5 boys from different couples is (1/2)^5=1/32=0.03125.

So the correct option is '1/32'.
